Website links

Check out the Owatonna Alumni website (link at right) for a class list. It just has the names of our class.

I also have a link to my sister's blog. She is Jennifer Martinovici now, but was Harbal same as me. Let me know if you have a website or a blog and I could add it.

Ideas

Does anyone have any ideas for place and/or time for the big event? Leave a comment and let us know.

Planning has begun

The first planning meeting is set for January 20th. I hope some people can make it, so we can get this show on the road.

After High School

After high school, I attended Minnesota State University, Mankato. I got married in May 2000 to Guy Walburn.

I graduated in July 2002 and worked at EF Johnson in Waseca while I studied for the CPA exam. I took the CPA exam in November 2002 and started working at KPMG in Minneapolis. I moved to Faribault with my husband, Guy.

In September 2004, I changed jobs and worked at a small public accounting firm in Faribault. My husband and I then moved to Owatonna.

In April 2005, I got an accountant job at Regis Corporation in Edina, MN. I commute everyday from Owatonna.

In December 2005, I gave birth to a baby boy, Jack.

Post what you have been up to after high school.

Getting the ball rolling...

I am Michelle (Harbal) Walburn from the Class of 1997 of Owatonna High School. After contacting the Alumni Association to get on the newsletter mailing list, I discovered that no one was planning our 10 year Reunion. I don't know about anyone else, but I was looking forward to a 5 year reunion and one was never planned. That I know of, that is.

So, I am starting this blog to try and help get connected to members of my class. I have a class list from the Alumni Association, but it needs to be updated. My sister, Jennifer (Harbal) Martinovici and my cousin, Jamie (Meixner) Linse are both excited about our reunion also. Together we plan on getting the ball rolling for the reunion.
